HONOURS AND AWARDS

Bioved Research Society(BRS) is always working for the welfare of farmers as well as for the overall development of agricultural sciences. In this respect, BRS used to honour some of the distinguished dignitaries, famous scientists and progressive farmers with its prestigious awards in the inaugural session of the Agriculture Scientists and farmers Congress (ASFC) which is being organized since 1990 continuously in the middle month of February in each year the interested member/ Scientists may submit their application on annexed proforma for award with relevant and authentic documents up to 31st December of the year, after that no application will be considered for the award of the present financial year. The following Awards & Honours are being conferred in its annual congress:–

SEMINAR AND SYMPOSIUM

It is an objective of the society to hold Seminar and Symposium periodically on topics of National Importance. Society holds Seminars and Symposium to fulfil its objective on current scientific problems to disperse the knowledge stock accumulated by the scientists for the benefit of the masses.

1998: Agricultural Scenario and Emerging Issues for 21st Century, Presided over by, Dr. Y.D. Pande, V.C. Tripura University, Agartala, Dr. N.K.S. Gaur, Minister of Higher Education, U.P. was the Chief Guest.

1999: Ist Indian Agricultural Scientists and Farmers' Congress, Presided by Dr. P.V. Dehadrai, Former Deputy director General (Fisheries) ICAR, New Delhi and Dr. V.K. Pandey, Minister. Home Guards U.P. was the Chief Guest.

2000: 2nd Indian Agricultural Scientists and farmers' Congress, Presided over by Dr. Panjab Singh, Director, IARI, New Delhi and Prof. Shiva Kant Ojha, Minister Science & Technology and Information Technology and Electronics, U.P. Govt., was the Chief Guest.

2001: 3rd Indian Agricultural Scientists and farmers' Congress, Presided over by Dr. Panjab Singh, Director, IARI, New Delhi and Prof. N.K.S. Gaur, Minister of Higher Education and Sugar Cane, U.P. Govt. was the Chief Guest.

2002: 4rd Indian Agricultural Scientists and farmers' Congress, was organised at CCS, Univ. , Meerut and presided over by Dr. Ramesh Chandra, VC, CCS University, Meerut and Dr.. Sahib Singh Verma, MP and Former C.M. Delhi Govt. was Chief Guest and Dr. SZ Qasim, was Distinguished Guest.

2003: 5th Indian Agricultural Scientists and farmers' Congress, Presided over by Dr. S.Z. Qasim, Former Member Planning Commission, Govt. of India and Dr. N.K.S. Gaur, Former Min. of U.P. Govt. was Chief Guest, Dr. S.A.H. Abidi, Member, ASRB, New Delhi delivered Key Note Address.

2004: 6th Indian Agricultural Scientists and Farmers' Congress, presided over by Dr. Panjab Singh, Ex-DG, ICAR and Dr. Seema Wahab Adviser, DBT was Chief Guest and Dr. S.A.H. Abidi, Member, ASRB, delivered Key note address.
